Flickr- The slideshow below was created in Flickr. It takes you through one of my vacations to Charleston, South Carolina. It was easy to upload the photos, but I had a hard time at first locating the "slideshow" tool. Once I found it, it was easy to use. The only problem I found was the titles and descriptions were not showing up on the slideshow, not only on my Wiki but on the Flickr page. It would only come up if I directly chose the "Show Info" button. I even tried changing the size to 700 pixels, and it did nothing new.
IPhoto- IPhoto was extremely easy to use, and I enjoyed using it. Below is a slideshow of some pictures of people/pets in my life that are important to me. I liked how you could easily put titles and descriptions that showed up nice and clear for the viewer to see. The option to have music was also nice and adds spunk to the show. I am excited to use it for other projects in the future. I had no difficulty uploading it to YouTube, or embedding it either.
Animoto- This next slideshow was created with Animoto. This was personally my favorite tool to use! I loved the effects that were available. I chose the "color blocks" theme because I think it adds a nice mix of flashy and professional touches to the overall show. This video walks you through part of my 21st birthday celebration. It shows my family and friends that I spent it with. I also really like how you could input separate pages of text that stood alone. That was a great effect to introduce new topics/people.
VoiceThread- I was suprised at how easy VoiceThread was to use! I was anticipating confusion and frustration before using it, envisioning myself having a hard time using the voice over and photos as the same time. It was way easier than I thought. I loved how you could speak at your own pace, and draw on the photo as well. That was awesome! I could easily talk about a specific part of a picture and highlight it at the same time. Again, very user friendly and provided great effects/opportunities. http://voicethread.com/share/1716979/
